Cardboard Boat Race Some of our members came out to the 2nd annual Cardboard Boat Race hosted by Tau Beta Pi. AIChE held the 4th fastest time at the event! Way to go guys! Glow in the Dark Bowling - Tuesday, May 29th (9th Week) AIChE Mentorship is hosting glow in the dark bowling! Don't miss your chance to have the cheapest and by far most enjoyable bowling experience ever! Participants only pay $5 (for one game) and AIChE will cover the cost of shoes. Drivers go FREE, so please let us know if you're willing to drive! We need to have 3 drivers! And nothing's better than a little competition, so AIChE will pay for the 3 best bowlers to duel it out in a championship game! Only 15 spots are available, so RSVP ASAP to haroula.rebecca@gmail.com. We'll meet at the De Neve Turnaround at 8:00 P.M. Dodgeball Toiletry Drive - Thursday, May 31st (9th Week) If you can dodge a wrench, you can dodge a ball!! And while we will not have any wrenches, you can come out and join AIChE for some good old fashion dodge-ball! The event will be held from 6:00-8:00 PM at Wilson Plaza. All you need to do to play is bring at least one unused toiletry item. These can be toothbrushes, toothpaste, shampoo, conditioner, soap, deodorant, and mouthwash. These items will all be donated to a local homeless/low-income organization for distribution. AIChE Senior Send-Off BBQ - Saturday, June 2nd (9th Week) Come join us for a lot of fun (and most likely tears) at Sunset Rec for the AIChE BBQ! There will be plenty of food and games for us all, and it will be a great time to bond with fellow ChemE's and ChemE professors! Unfortunately, we will have to say goodbye to our seniors as they will be graduating and changing the world. It will be a great time to show your appreciation for all that they have done for us throughout the years. Save the date! More details to come. Fondue TA Study Night - Wednesday, June 6th (10th Week) AIChe Mentorship presents Fondue TA Study Night! We will meet from 6:00-10:00 P.M. at Boelter Penthouse and we have invited TAs from Chem 30A, ChemE 102B and ChemE 104 to attend also! It will be a great way to form and/or meet with study groups and start reviewing and preparing for finals! As a little treat for all the little smarty pants who attend, we will have a chocolate fondue to dip little treats in and aid our night of studying! See all of you brainiacs there!
