Process Control Teaches Physics 1a.
As a mentee, you will be assigned to clusters in one of our four families (Helium, Neon, Krypton, or Argon), where you will be paired with two mentors and one other mentee. Reach out to your mentors/mentees and ask them about anything about academics, social life, or chemical engineering.
meet our family heads.
Hello Helium family members! My name is Ryan, the family head. I am a third year chemical engineer hailing from the far-away land of San Diego. I will be organizing family events with the goal of using AIChE’s resources to enabling you guys to do something novel and exciting that you might not be able to put on yourselves. Of course, these events are just backdrops to the most important aspect of Helium - getting to know your fellow chemical engineers better! If you have any interesting ideas for an event that you want to see happen, or just want to reach out, please feel free to contact me!
Welcome to the Neon Family! My name is Talia and I’m the Neon Family Head. I’m a third year majoring in Chemical Engineering and minoring in French. Being in the Neon Family means you’re in for a fun time. We will have all sort of events including relaxing food nights and competitive game nights. So join us at Family events and always feel free to reach out. Neon is here to support you!
Hi everyone, my name is Keegan and I’m the Argon Family Head. I am one of a rare few semiconductor focused chemical engineers, but don't let that scare you away. My family always has a laid back and friendly environment, so make sure to come chill at our events. I know you ar-gon-na have a great time!
What's up, y'all! Welcome to the Krypton Family, your home for the next few years! I'm Andrea, the Krypton Family Head, so I'll be organizing all our family events and, more importantly, available for you to contact if you need any support, advice, a friend, a gym buddy or a dance partner, or just someone to eat lunch with! My goal is to make this family into a tightly woven community of chemical engineers who can support each other through the roller coaster ride that is the quarter system. I want to make this family into what YOU want it to be, so please don't be shy to say hello and give me feedback! A little background on me, I'm a 3rd year ChemE following the biomolecular concentration. I also LOVE to sing and teach music at underserved middle/high schools through a club called SLAM, so HMU if you wanna jam!!! Can't wait to meet you all!
